Q - Are there more inspiration, mood or accounting and rationality?
Lego my Ego, Be-lingual
Memento audere/videre, Lego my Ego, Italia mia, benchè., Be-lingual As in ‘Mother and Child Divided (1993)”, an emotional thing you can relate to in a rude and not emotional way, and anyhow becomes a minimal or structural thing too. The division involved in the title is real, in fact they are cut in two halves. It’s the sharp idea of killing things in order to see them - in a way - if you try to consider human relationships from a scientific point of view, it’s like trying to solve a romance with scientific mind; or trying to solve scientific problems when you are emotionally involved. You cut cows in 6 pieces, and somehow you have the two points of view together. You could tell it’s love. You could tell: i will make one out of this two cows. Of course it’s dead, so it quite rude. They are cast apart one another. But i think that the violence here is the violence inside any relationship, just like when you struggle for keeping up a relationship alive, and it falls into pieces. Anyways, the title was honest about the fact that it wouldnt have worked at all. So there comes a time when you surrender to the impossibility itself. And life seems to be a sort of impossible quest. Treacherous words unveil inherent lies. Lies are a big part of our life. Don’t you think? I didn’t do that! It wasn’t me!

| the italian version with Joey “mammma” saying “not 1, but 2 balls in your head to get by…” . Probably puritanism did his job in original “1,2,3,4 bullets”, or maybe its all about guns… and what has happend to Joe Di Maggio and Marilyn Monroe in the italian dubbing? they are still stars imprinted into a sidewalking, but…”whatever…”. A country of emigrants, a land of greats dubbers. Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?
